From the Vice President André Paquet :
In a few days, 2025 will come to a close, a year in which, once again, the members of the AFMI Board of Directors will have been very busy. For example, as mentioned in the last Brelan newsletter, we have begun working on a retention schedule for administrative documents, a document required by Bill 25 (or An Act to modernize legislative provisions regarding the protection of personal information). Although small in size, it is surprising to see how many documents AFMI has produced and retained since its founding in 1987, documents for which we will have to decide, by category, whether or not to keep them. Many discussions lie ahead!
We will also soon be taking the first step towards celebrating AFMI’s 40th anniversary in 2027. If you have any ideas, please don’t hesitate to share them with us!
Regarding the board of directors, we are still looking for a member to fill a director position. Go ahead! A quick call or email, and the position is yours!
As you can see, AFMI is thriving and confident in its future. It’s up to all of us, and future members, to take it even further.
